Kafka Solution Architect

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Kafka Solution Architect to design and deliver scalable, reliable, and real‑time data streaming solutions using Apache Kafka and the Confluent ecosystem. The role works closely with data engineers, architects, DevOps teams, and business stakeholders to build event‑driven architectures for enterprise‑grade streaming.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement end‑to‑end real‑time streaming solutions with Apache Kafka and Confluent technologies.
• Translate business and technical requirements into scalable event‑driven architectures.
• Collaborate with data engineering, application, architecture, and DevOps teams to deliver reliable platforms.
• Support Kafka deployments across cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure) and improve performance, security, and scalability.
• Troubleshoot complex streaming issues, perform root‑cause analysis, and recommend sustainable fixes.
• Provide technical guidance, define architectural standards, and drive continuous improvement.
• Engage with customers and stakeholders to communicate solutions, risks, and implementation approaches.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of IT experience, with at least 4 years focused on Kafka, event streaming, or solution architecture.
• Proven experience delivering enterprise‑scale data integration or streaming solutions.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills.

• KRaft migration, data mesh architectures, integration with data lakes and warehouses
