About the role

Data Intellect, a specialist data and technology consultancy with deep roots in capital markets, is hiring a kdb+ developer in Singapore. The role sits within a consultancy serving world-leading capital markets institutions, where you will help solve complex data and technology challenges alongside experienced kdb+ specialists.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with business users to define new application requirements.
• Develop, test and maintain clean, performant code for client applications.
• Support project delivery alongside Project Managers and senior developers.
• Analyse large-scale time-series data and generate actionable reports.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to a culture of continuous learning.

Required profile

• 2+ years of hands-on kdb+ development experience with real-time and historical data.
• Solid understanding of q language and time-series data structures.
• Experience working in Unix/Linux environments.
• Familiarity with software development methodologies and the SDLC.
• Comfortable working independently and in a team, with excellent communication skills.
• Prior experience in capital markets or investment banking is advantageous but not essential.
