Key Account Manager – Distribution

About the role

The Key Account Manager (Distribution) will own and grow strategic relationships with Sika's key distributors, retailers, dealers and trade partners. Acting as the primary commercial contact, you will collaborate with internal teams to drive sales growth, market penetration and customer loyalty across Sika's construction chemicals portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute annual business plans for assigned key accounts.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, directors, procurement and sales managers.
• Serve as the single point of contact between Sika and each key account.
• Conduct regular business reviews and monitor customer satisfaction.
• Achieve annual sales, margin and collection targets.
• Increase wallet share through cross‑selling and upselling of Sika products.
• Identify new sales opportunities and expand product listings and SKU penetration.
• Negotiate commercial agreements and manage account risks.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing strategic relationships with distributors and trade partners.
• Ability to develop and implement annual account plans.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Track record of meeting sales and margin targets.
• Customer‑focused mindset with a commitment to high satisfaction levels.
