Key Account Manager (Gas Compressor)

About the role

Our client, a multinational machinery manufacturing company, is seeking a Key Account Manager specializing in gas compressors to drive sales and after‑sales services across Singapore. You will work closely with internal teams and customers to grow the business and ensure high satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Drive sales activities for a full range of services, including valve services, spare parts & components, field services, component repair, engineering services, revamps and upgrades, monitoring & diagnostic solutions, and compressor technology training.
• Collaborate with internal teams to meet company and individual sales targets.
• Provide comprehensive after‑sales support to maintain long‑term customer relationships.
• Manage and develop sales agents, setting objectives, monitoring performance, and driving growth.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers while identifying new business opportunities.
• Interpret customer requirements and recommend suitable technical and commercial solutions.
• Conduct regular customer visits and travel within the assigned territory to support business development.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
• Deliver technical sales presentations, product demonstrations, application support, and customer training.
• Coordinate with regional and global teams to ensure effective project execution.

Required profile

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial sales within the refinery, petrochemical, or chemical sectors.
• Experience in after‑sales service of gas compressors or rotating equipment.
