Lead EUC Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Lead End User Computing (EUC) Engineer to act as the technical lead for a large Windows and mobile endpoint estate. You will own the engineering roadmap for provisioning, OS lifecycle, encryption and mobile management, while mentoring junior engineers and driving automation at scale.

Key responsibilities

• Own and maintain the technical roadmap for endpoint provisioning, OS lifecycle, encryption and mobile management.
• Set engineering standards, baselines and best practices across a 17,000‑device fleet.
• Mentor junior and mid‑level engineers, review their work and grow their capability.
• Lead design reviews, evaluate new tooling and make architecture recommendations.
• Design and improve zero‑touch provisioning using Windows Autopilot (Entra hybrid and Entra‑joined).
• Manage update rings, Windows Update for Business policies and rollout strategies.
• Plan and lead Windows feature and EOL upgrade campaigns.
• Define strategy and standards for iOS and Android enrollment, configuration and compliance via Intune.

Required profile

• Minimum 7+ years of experience in endpoint engineering/EUC, with ownership of a large Windows fleet.
• Proven experience leading workstreams and mentoring other engineers.
• Hands‑on expertise with Microsoft Intune, SCCM and PowerShell.
• Deep production experience with Windows Autopilot at scale.
• Track record of delivering Windows OS upgrade/EOL migration programmes.
