Lead Scheduler – Data Center Projects

About the role

Avensys is seeking a Lead Scheduler to drive the planning and scheduling function for major data‑center projects across multiple regions. The role ensures high‑quality schedule governance, integration, and performance monitoring for complex construction programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of project planning, scheduling, and control strategies.
• Establish scheduling governance, methodologies, reporting standards, coding conventions, and baseline management processes.
• Create and maintain integrated master schedules covering design, procurement, construction, commissioning and close‑out.
• Analyse critical path, float, milestones, dependencies and overall schedule performance.
• Track progress, forecast outcomes, produce executive reports and monitor milestone achievement.
• Identify, assess and manage major schedule risks, delays and mitigation actions.
• Conduct what‑if analysis, scenario planning and schedule recovery or acceleration strategies.
• Integrate contractor, supplier and work‑stream schedules into the master plan.
• Represent scheduling function in client meetings, steering committees and executive reviews.
• Provide strategic advice on schedule strategy, delivery risks, sequencing and procurement impacts.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Quantity Surveying, Architecture, Planning or Project Controls.
• 10+ years of experience in project scheduling, planning or project controls.
• Extensive experience leading scheduling on large, complex construction or data‑center programmes.
• Proven track record of leading scheduling teams and advising senior stakeholders.
