Lecturer – Human Capital Management & Career Development

About the role

Join the School of Business Management to shape future‑ready HR professionals by teaching Human Capital Management and career development. You will design and deliver diploma‑level courses, mentor learners and collaborate with industry partners.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deliver Human Capital Management learning units for pre‑employment training and continuing education using lectures, tutorials, seminars and e‑learning.
• Facilitate engaging, technology‑enabled learning experiences and employ experiential pedagogies.
• Mentor students in career planning, employability skills, internship readiness and professional growth.
• Build and maintain partnerships with employers, industry practitioners and professional bodies to support internships, projects and career initiatives.
• Contribute to programme administration, academic quality assurance and school‑wide initiatives.

Required profile

• Relevant qualification in Human Resource Management or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of industry experience in HR, career planning, workforce development or related fields.
• Experience with HR technology, AI, people analytics or digital transformation is an advantage.
• SWDA Certified Career Advisor (CCA) or Certified Career Practitioner (CCP) or equivalent career‑coaching experience is a plus.
• Strong passion for teaching, mentoring and developing learners.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills.
