Lecturer/Senior Lecturer – Biologics & Process Technology

About the role

You will be playing an active role in the academic, professional, and personal development of the learners to prepare them for work and life. This includes development of Pre‑Employment Training (PET) and Continuing Education & Training (CET) curricula, programme delivery and working on industry projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop courses including curriculum design, deliver face‑to‑face and online sessions, and supervise industry projects.
• Prepare and grade assessments and oversee learners’ daily coursework.
• Manage the Learning Management System and employ interactive digital tools such as Kahoot and Mentimeter.
• Mentor learners, provide pastoral care and handle administrative duties.
• Contribute to school strategic initiatives through committee work and industry collaborations.
• Lead project development with industry partners and identify new opportunities.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of experience in biologics manufacturing, covering upstream and/or downstream processing.
• Relevant scientific or chemical engineering qualifications.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency with digital tools, AI and data‑analytics applications, and ability to multitask.
• Willingness to teach and develop curricula in biologics operations, AI for process industry, and statistical methods.
