Linux Platform Engineer (Cloud Engineer)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Linux Platform Engineer to design, implement and support enterprise‑grade Linux infrastructure across our data‑centre environments in Singapore. The role combines system administration, automation and reliability engineering to keep mission‑critical services running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, harden, patch and maintain RHEL‑based Linux systems.
• Perform OS tuning, performance optimisation and capacity planning.
• Provide Level 3 support for Linux incidents across development, testing and production.
• Develop and maintain automation using Ansible, Bash and Python.
• Monitor system health, logs and performance with enterprise tools and ensure high availability.
• Support physical server hardware, coordinate with vendors and handle disaster‑recovery configurations.
• Maintain documentation, runbooks and ensure compliance with security standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 + years of Linux system administration in enterprise environments.
• Strong hands‑on expertise with RHEL/Linux (LVM, networking, kernel tuning, system internals).
• Experience with configuration management tools, preferably Ansible.
• Proficiency in Bash scripting and working knowledge of Python.
• Background in large‑scale, production‑critical environments.
• Familiarity with containers (Docker/Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Red Hat certification (RHCSA/RHCE) highly desirable; ITIL certification an advantage.
