Listed Derivatives Operations Associate – Global Banking & Markets

About the role

As a member of the Listed Derivatives team, you will support cash equity trading across Goldman Sachs businesses by learning onboarding, configuration, cash processing, and allocation processes. You will work closely with Business, Client Service, Technology and Operations groups, communicating across all levels to ensure high‑quality post‑trade execution.

Key responsibilities

• Manage clients’ post‑trade execution needs, handling complex transaction requests, queries and settlement to a high‑quality standard.
• Provide operational risk management and oversight for Futures sales and trading, ensuring integrity of the firm’s books from trade capture to settlement.
• Develop and maintain workflows, systems and controls that support cash equity trading and settlement.
• Drive change‑management discussions with technology and other operational teams to streamline processes and assess downstream implications.
• Identify, document and implement procedural improvements around reference data and suspense‑account management.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience in listed derivatives (futures & options) trade support, middle‑office or cash processing.
• Strong client‑service orientation with ability to build relationships across business, technology and operations.
• Proactive, self‑motivated and team‑oriented with a focus on risk mitigation and control.
• Knowledge of futures and options markets and experience managing suspense accounts on a T+0 basis.
