Lobby Lounge Host/Hostess – Food & Beverage Service

About the role

The Lobby Lounge Host/Hostess welcomes guests to the restaurant, ensuring a smooth and memorable dining experience. Working in a premium Marriott property, you will be the first point of contact, representing the brand’s hospitality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Greet all guests and potential guests at the restaurant entrance.
• Prepare the restaurant for service, ensuring tables and settings meet opening standards.
• Maintain impeccable uniform and personal presentation in line with hotel policy.
• Handle telephone bookings and record them accurately in the reservation book.
• Update the guest database and communicate promotions to guests.
• Stay knowledgeable about the menu, including daily specials.
• Support staff motivation and team‑building activities.
• Clear tables quietly and efficiently.
• Respond to reservation inquiries and guest feedback within 24 hours.

Required profile

• High School or Vocational Certificate in Hotel Management, Food & Beverage, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience, or an equivalent mix of education and experience.
• Ability to adhere to health, safety, brand, and local policy requirements.
• Professional appearance and strong personal presentation.
