Logistics Expert – Remote Contract

About the role

Mercor is seeking a Logistics Expert to work remotely on supply‑chain projects that support AI model development. This contract role involves building deterministic rubrics, planning scenarios, and improving logistics performance for cutting‑edge research labs.

Key responsibilities

• Design long‑horizon supply‑chain tasks and grade agent performance against verifiable ground truth.
• Develop planning scenarios using MAPE forecasts, MRP runs, and inventory analyses to achieve target safety stock.
• Create S&OP capacity analyses and scenario plans with computable demand‑supply reconciliation.
• Design execution tasks such as supplier scorecards and logistics exception handling against defined SLAs.
• Work independently on challenging scenarios to enhance AI model performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Operations or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in supply‑chain planning, S&OP or logistics.
• Clear written communication and ability to articulate reasoning step‑by‑step into deterministic rubrics.
• Preferred APICS CPIM or CSCP certification.
