Looker Architect – Data Warehouse & Dashboard Expert

About the role

We are seeking a Looker Architect to design and deliver high‑performance, enterprise‑grade dashboards and data models. The role bridges business intelligence, data engineering and stakeholder collaboration to turn complex data into actionable insights.

Key responsibilities

• Architect multi‑page Looker Studio reports that combine high‑level KPIs with drill‑down capabilities.
• Design and implement semantic layers and governed datasets in BigQuery, ensuring seamless integration with Looker.
• Apply Medallion architecture and lakehouse concepts to structure raw, curated and refined data.
• Optimize query performance using SQL tuning, BigQuery BI Engine and efficient extraction schedules.
• Define and enforce data governance, access controls and versioning to protect data integrity and privacy.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate ambiguous requirements into clear technical specifications and user‑centric visualisations.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing BI solutions on Looker Studio and Google BigQuery.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing, lakehouse and Medallion architecture principles.
• Ability to work independently while communicating effectively with cross‑functional teams.
