Maintenance Engineer

About the role

The Maintenance Engineer will lead and support troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment, develop preventive and predictive maintenance programs, and ensure new equipment is integrated smoothly into production. The role combines hands‑on technical work with process improvement and supplier coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and participate in machine troubleshooting, including abnormal breakdowns.
• Define and maintain SOPs and troubleshooting guides for equipment.
• Support preventive maintenance schedules and autonomous maintenance activities.
• Develop and implement TPM, preventive and predictive maintenance programs, spare‑parts inventory, and service contracts.
• Validate new equipment designs, ensure manuals and procedures are in place, and coordinate training.
• Collaborate with suppliers to support process automation and Industry 4.0 initiatives.
• Drive operational efficiency to reduce cycle time, increase availability, and boost throughput.
• Prepare training documentation and support technicians and operators.
• Resolve internal and external issues with cross‑functional teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics engineering or related field (or technical diploma with >5 years experience).
• Experience with electro‑mechanical equipment in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical mindset and knowledge of statistical tools.
• Six Sigma certification is a plus.
