Manager, Accounting & Advisory (Financial Services)

About the role

This position offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced and client‑focused Manager to take on a broader compliance and consultative role supporting international and regulated businesses within the Financial Services sector, including funds, asset managers, payment services providers, fintech companies and other financial institutions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of clients such as funds, asset managers, payment services providers, fintech firms and other regulated entities.
• Oversee delivery and review of accounting, financial reporting and advisory services, ensuring compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
• Provide technical guidance and support to the team, maintaining quality and risk management standards.
• Drive process improvements and efficiencies to enhance deliverables and client experience.
• Contribute to business development by identifying opportunities, participating in prospect meetings, pitches and proposals.
• Lead, coach and develop the team, handling resource planning, performance management and staff development.
• Take ownership of the portfolio’s financial performance, including engagement efficiency, fee recovery and profitability.
• Participate in ad‑hoc projects and tasks as required by partners.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline, or equivalent professional qualification.
• 5–8 years of relevant experience in professional services, audit, accounting outsourcing, fund administration or Financial Services, with exposure to regulated entities.
• Proven experience managing client portfolios and leading teams, with strong project and resource management capabilities.
• Good knowledge of SFRS, IFRS, US GAAP and Singapore Financial Services regulatory environment, able to provide practical technical guidance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English, analytical and problem‑solving skills, and ability to engage senior stakeholders.
• Commercially minded with interest in business development and building client relationships.
