Manager Internal Audit – Global Markets

About the role

Join Macquarie’s Internal Audit team in Singapore and support the Commodities and Global Markets & Trading division. You will work with recognised experts, develop deep knowledge of trading and financial activities, and help safeguard the firm’s risk‑management framework.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a detailed understanding of the Commodities and Global Markets business, its products and control environment.
• Identify key risks and controls across regional and global audit projects.
• Execute audit testing, document findings and support remediation of open issues.
• Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels to influence risk‑based decisions.
• Leverage artificial intelligence and data‑analytics tools to enhance audit effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proven experience in internal audit or risk management.
• Background in global markets, trading businesses or commodities is highly regarded.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build relationships.
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in data‑analytics techniques and willingness to adopt AI‑driven audit tools.
