Manufacturing Technician – Cleanroom Equipment Assembly

About the role

As a Manufacturing Technician you will work hands‑on in a cleanroom environment building, repairing and testing multimillion‑dollar display and wafer fabrication equipment. You will handle electrical, electro‑mechanical, vacuum and pneumatic assemblies, ensuring they meet the high standards required for semiconductor and display manufacturing.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret work orders, schematics, wiring diagrams and parts lists to assemble, repair or test equipment.
• Perform electro‑mechanical assembly operations, troubleshooting and repairs under moderate supervision.
• Audit incoming parts, inspect for defects and suggest process improvements.
• Use test fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors and vacuum pumps to validate assemblies and sub‑assemblies.
• Complete job documentation, record labor and expense details, and install software or perform programming as needed.

Required profile

• High school diploma (or equivalent).
• 1–2 years of experience in semiconductor, display or comparable industry (including military experience).
• Ability to follow written and verbal standard operating procedures.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and safety practices.
