Manufacturing Technician

About the role

As a Manufacturing Technician you will work hands‑on in a clean‑room environment building, repairing and testing multimillion‑dollar display and wafer‑fabrication equipment. The role involves assembling electro‑mechanical, vacuum and pneumatic components and ensuring they meet strict quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Follow work orders, schematics, wiring diagrams and parts lists to build, repair and test electrical, electro‑mechanical, vacuum and pneumatic assemblies.
• Perform electro‑mechanical assembly operations, troubleshooting and repairs under moderate supervision.
• Receive parts, conduct audits for availability and defect inspection, and suggest process improvements.
• Use test fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors and vacuum pumps to verify assemblies and sub‑assemblies.
• Complete job documentation, record labor details and, when required, perform computer programming, software installs or repairs.

Required profile

• High school diploma; 1–2 years of semiconductor or display manufacturing experience (or comparable industry/military experience).
• Ability to follow written and verbal standard operating procedures.
• Knowledge of basic hand tools and safety practices in a clean‑room environment.
