Manufacturing Technician (Wire-EDM)

About the role

Join a leading aerospace manufacturer as a Manufacturing Technician focused on Wire‑EDM operations. You will work on‑site in Seletar, supporting precision machining processes and contributing to a safe, lean production environment.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, operate and maintain Wire‑EDM machines.
• Perform simple troubleshooting and follow established procedures and work instructions.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain 6S lean activities to ensure a safe and organized workspace.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with other manufacturing processes.
• Participate in EH&S programs and uphold safety standards.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives, including CORE activities.
• Execute additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Required profile

• NITEC in Precision, Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience operating and maintaining EDM/CMM machines.
• 2 years of experience in manufacturing, precision engineering or machining.
• Hands‑on attitude with ability to follow technical instructions and SOPs.
• Attention to detail and willingness to work permanent night shifts and overtime when needed.
