Material Planner Trainee (Attach and Train Programme)

About the role

GSK's Attach and Train Programme (AnT) is a 15-month on-the-job training programme for a Material Planner Trainee in Singapore's biopharmaceutical manufacturing industry. It builds a pipeline of skilled professionals and offers hands-on experience, industry-relevant skills and mentorship. Applications are open to fresh graduates and mid-career individuals, but only Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents are considered.

Key responsibilities

• Manage raw materials inventory: weekly MRP reviews, timely purchase orders, liaison with suppliers and procurement, work with internal stakeholders on backorders, analyse inventory when production plans change, and set ordering, inventory and replenishment policies.
• Change control management: initiate and follow up change controls until closure, evaluate their impact, coordinate with stakeholders and ensure new materials are implemented accurately and on time.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, preferably in supply chain, business or science.
• Ability to quickly learn and apply GMP manufacturing requirements.
• Attention to detail, problem-solving, proactive communication, adaptability under pressure, organisation and teamwork.
• Singapore citizenship or permanent residency.

What you will learn

• Material requirement planning (MRP) concepts, master data and planning models in a primary vaccine manufacturing company.
• Change control management and GMP compliance through instructor-led training and the CC standard operating procedure.
