Materials Project Management Manager

About the role

Applied Materials is seeking a Materials Project Management Manager to lead cross‑functional planning, inventory control and supplier coordination for its semiconductor manufacturing operations in Singapore. You will drive integrated planning processes, ensure on‑time delivery, and support cost‑reduction initiatives across engineering, manufacturing and quality teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage a fully integrated planning process covering make‑vs‑buy decisions, capacity planning, scheduling, inventory and cost elements.
• Analyze customer demand, sales forecasts and historical usage to create build‑to‑order and build‑to‑forecast plans.
• Coordinate with business teams to devise cost‑effective production strategies and maintain accurate inventory counts in partnership with Finance.
• Design and execute sourcing strategies, manage supplier relationships, and monitor supplier scorecard performance.
• Represent the materials organization on corporate task‑force teams and contribute to cross‑functional operational decisions.

• Applies in‑depth business expertise to integrate discipline within the segment/function.
• Manages multiple related teams, sets priorities and allocates resources effectively.
• Influences internal and external stakeholders, including senior management.
