MDR Operations Team Lead

About the role

Sygnia is seeking an experienced MDR Operations Team Lead to manage a team of analysts in its Singapore site. This hands‑on technical leadership position combines people management with advanced security investigations and 24/7 Follow‑the‑Sun operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of MDR analysts, handling scheduling, shift coverage and on‑call rotation.
• Serve as senior technical escalation point for complex investigations and high‑severity security events.
• Manage alert queues, ensure SLA compliance, and rebalance workloads proactively.
• Oversee cross‑region shift handovers and coordinate with global MDR and Incident Response teams.
• Conduct in‑depth forensic analysis across endpoint, network, identity, email, cloud and application telemetry.
• Improve detection logic, reduce false positives and translate threat intelligence into new detections.
• Produce client‑ready incident reports and act as technical liaison during security events.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience in SOC, MDR or MSSP environments.
• 1+ years of experience leading security analysts, including performance management and shift planning.
• Strong investigative experience with SIEM, EDR/XDR, network, identity, email, cloud and endpoint data.
• Proven ability to deliver high‑quality incident reports to external clients.
• Excellent written and verbal English, with confidence to lead technical discussions under pressure.
