Mechanical Design Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to lead the development of our next product. You will be involved from concept generation through prototyping, testing, and final manufacturing, ensuring the design meets functional and reliability targets.

Key responsibilities

• Generate innovative concepts and create detailed 3D models using Autodesk CAD/CAM.
• Design mechanical components and mechanisms from scratch, including sizing and material selection.
• Produce prototypes through 3D printing, conduct functional testing and iterate designs.
• Coordinate with vendors for component sourcing and oversee hands‑on assembly.
• Validate designs, support manufacturing processes and perform reliability testing.
• Identify cost‑reduction opportunities throughout the development cycle.

• Strong communication skills for effective vendor interaction.
• Open to learning and building a robust portfolio of mechanical projects.
