Medical Advisor – Thailand

About the role

The Medical Advisor will provide strategic medical guidance and ensure its implementation across the assigned therapy area in Thailand. Working closely with Thought Leaders and healthcare professionals, the role supports clinical decision‑making and positions Ipsen as a trusted partner.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver scientific and medical information to external stakeholders, responding promptly to unsolicited requests in line with Ipsen SOPs and local pharmaceutical codes.
• Support the planning and scientific execution of local events such as satellite symposia and round‑table meetings.
• Develop and maintain medical information decks that highlight Ipsen’s products and therapy areas for HCPs, TLs and internal teams.
• Engage with Key Opinion Leaders through advisory panels and round‑tables to facilitate scientific exchange and gather insights.
• Collaborate with medical, marketing and sales teams to align Medical Affairs strategy with Country Brand Operating Plans, including budget management.
• Collect actionable insights from stakeholder interactions to shape patient‑focused strategies.
• Provide clinical and HEOR data to support market access and reimbursement discussions.
• Advise brand teams on medical and regulatory considerations for promotional activities and review promotional materials for compliance.
• Identify and develop KOLs as national or international speakers for relevant therapy areas.
• Deliver timely medical training to internal staff to ensure high‑level medical knowledge across the organization.

Required profile

• Proven experience in medical affairs within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong network and ability to build relationships with Thought Leaders and healthcare professionals in Thailand.
• Excellent understanding of clinical data, therapeutic areas and regulatory guidelines.
• Ability to translate scientific evidence into clear, non‑promotional communication.
• Collaborative mindset to work across medical, marketing and sales functions.
