Mobile and Cloud Security Engineer

About the role

CSIT, a research and development agency under Singapore's Ministry of Defence, is seeking a Mobile and Cloud Security Engineer to design, build, and operate advanced security solutions for mobile, cloud, and web environments.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on mobile, cloud, and web applications, including CDN and edge computing environments.
• Develop and maintain security tools and services for mobile, cloud, and web platforms.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity researchers to anticipate emerging threats and create new security solutions.
• Work with cross‑functional teams to design and implement secure mobile, cloud, and web architectures.
• Participate in incident response and threat‑hunting activities to protect digital assets.

Required profile

• Background in Infocomm Security, Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent.
• Strong interest in Infocomm Security.
• Familiarity with mobile platforms/devices, cloud technologies, network protocols and/or content delivery networks.
• Ability to learn new technologies independently and apply them innovatively.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python.
• Only Singapore citizens will be considered.
