Mobile Application Developer (Android)

About the role

Responsible for analysis, design, development, implementation and post‑live support of an Android mobile application.

Key responsibilities

• Translate designs and wireframes into high‑quality code.
• Design, build, and maintain high‑performance, reusable, and reliable Java code.
• Ensure optimal performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
• Deploy changes and releases into production.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3–5 years of professional experience developing Android applications.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of Android SDK and various Android versions.
• Experience with offline storage, threading and performance tuning.
• Proficiency in RESTful API integration.
• Familiarity with Android UI design principles and open‑source libraries.
• Understanding of biometrics (facial recognition, fingerprint, iris) is a plus.
• Agile development methodology experience.
• Version control using Git or SVN.
• Continuous integration and build automation.
