Network & Structured Cabling Engineer

About the role

YI-KE Innovations is seeking a hands‑on Network & Structured Cabling Engineer to join its IT infrastructure team in Singapore. You will be responsible for installing, testing, and maintaining network and data‑centre cabling, as well as supporting server and networking equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Install, terminate, test, label and maintain copper and fibre‑optic cabling systems.
• Deploy and configure network devices such as switches, routers, firewalls and access points.
• Assist with server installation, rack mounting, equipment configuration and basic troubleshooting.
• Set up and maintain server racks, network racks, patch panels, cable trays, containment and cable‑management systems.
• Perform structured‑cabling works (Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A, fibre‑optic) and fibre‑optic splicing, termination and certification.
• Conduct cable testing, certification and network‑connectivity troubleshooting.
• Read and interpret network diagrams, rack layouts, cable schedules, floor plans and technical drawings.
• Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors and site teams to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.

Required profile

• Technical aptitude with a focus on hands‑on installation and troubleshooting.
• Ability to work closely with project managers, engineers, technicians and clients.
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety and quality standards.
