Observability / ITSM Engineer

About the role

Observability / ITSM Engineer will implement, configure, integrate and support enterprise monitoring, ITOM, ITSM, CMDB and Asset Management solutions for customers across Singapore.

Key responsibilities

• Implement, configure and maintain enterprise monitoring and observability platforms (e.g., BMC, SolarWinds, Dynatrace, Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, SCOM).
• Set up monitoring for servers, network devices, applications, databases, storage, virtualization and cloud environments, including alerts, thresholds, dashboards and reports.
• Configure and manage ITSM processes, workflows, forms, notifications, SLAs and escalations, and integrate monitoring with ITSM tools for automated incident handling.
• Develop automation scripts (Python, Bash, PowerShell) and support configuration management using Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins or similar tools.
• Support integrations via REST APIs, webhooks, SNMP, Syslog and agents, and assist with linking monitoring, ITSM, CMDB, cloud and third‑party platforms.
• Troubleshoot performance, event and integration issues and provide operational support.

Required profile

• 3–4 years of experience in observability, enterprise monitoring, ITOM, ITSM or related infrastructure operations.
• Hands‑on experience with at least one enterprise monitoring/observability platform.
• Good understanding of monitoring, logging, alerting, incident management and service availability.
• Familiarity with ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, discovery and asset management concepts.
• Knowledge of Linux/Windows operating systems and networking fundamentals.
• Basic experience with REST APIs, system integration and scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container/orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and communication skills.
