Occupational Therapist – Early Intervention (Singapore)

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist to join our early‑intervention team in Singapore. You will work closely with educators, families and multidisciplinary professionals to support children’s developmental needs within preschool settings.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct developmental screenings and assessments to identify fine motor, sensory, adaptive and self‑regulation needs.
• Develop and implement individualized intervention plans integrated into daily classroom routines.
• Collaborate with teachers, Learning Support Educators, families and multidisciplinary teams to monitor progress and promote inclusive participation.
• Provide consultation, coaching and training for educators and parents, and contribute to case discussions and classroom observations.
• Maintain accurate case documentation, progress reports and programme evaluation records in line with professional and regulatory standards.
• Support the creation of resources, workshops, service‑improvement initiatives and research projects.
• For senior role: supervise junior therapists/LSEds, lead service‑improvement projects and support programme reviews.

Required profile

• Diploma or Degree in Occupational Therapy recognised by the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) with full AHPC registration.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in early‑intervention, preschool, educational or paediatric settings (5‑7 years for senior position with at least 1 year supervisory experience).
• Strong knowledge of child development, sensory integration, school‑based interventions, family‑centred practice and inclusive education.
• Membership with the Singapore Association of Occupational Therapists (SAOT) or equivalent is preferred.
