Onsite Technician – 2nd Line Support

About the role

As an Onsite Technician you will join a global IT service provider and deliver 2nd‑line technical support to enterprise users across Singapore. You will be the first point of contact for hardware, software and network issues on‑site, ensuring smooth operation of desktops, laptops, mobile devices and related infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Provide 2nd‑line onsite support for desktops, laptops, PCs and mobile devices.
• Build, configure and deploy new hardware including desktops, laptops, TVs, projectors and peripherals.
• Manage tickets using the company’s IT ticketing tool and maintain accurate documentation.
• Support basic data‑center and application architecture, including file servers and backup systems.
• Troubleshoot and administer switches, routers, firewalls, Wi‑Fi access points and related network equipment.
• Perform hardware integration, customization and hard‑reboot procedures for servers and storage appliances.

Required profile

• 2‑5 years of relevant experience in technical support or onsite IT roles.
• Junior executive level with the ability to work independently and follow defined procedures.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; capable of running workshops and reporting.
• Ability to evaluate unique circumstances and make appropriate recommendations.
