Operations Manager - Aerospace MRO

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead a key value stream within an established aerospace MRO environment in Singapore. The role ensures efficient progress across the repair cycle, from disassembly to pre‑kitting, balancing manpower and production priorities.

Key responsibilities

• Own overall performance and workflow of an assigned value stream.
• Plan and adjust manpower deployment based on workload, priorities and capacity.
• Maintain visibility of work‑in‑process and ensure alignment with production plans.
• Identify and remove process constraints in partnership with Production, Engineering and Quality teams.
• Track and analyse operational KPIs such as productivity, delivery, quality, labour utilisation, WIP and turnaround time.
• Lead Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement programmes to improve flow and reduce waste.
• Implement effective shop‑floor management practices, including visual controls and workplace organisation.
• Identify opportunities to shorten lead times and increase throughput.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of people‑management or shop‑floor leadership experience.
• Solid background in manufacturing, repair or MRO environments; aerospace or aviation MRO experience is a plus.
• Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies.
