Overseas Business Development Manager – SEA/APAC

About the role
We are looking for an Overseas Business Development Manager to lead the acquisition of new performance advertising clients across Southeast Asia and the broader Asia‑Pacific region. You will own the full sales cycle, from prospecting to contract signing, and help shape our overseas sales processes.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and engage potential advertisers—especially mobile games and apps—through ecosystem partnerships, industry events, online research and referrals.
- Conduct high‑quality client meetings to understand business objectives and present Tencent AMS solutions.
- Create and deliver sales pitches, negotiate terms and manage the end‑to‑end sales process until onboarding.
- Collaborate with Operations, Product and Engineering to ensure client requirements are met and issues resolved during onboarding.
- Maintain lead and opportunity data in the CRM, produce regular pipeline reports and sales forecasts.
- Build relationships with internal units focused on international expansion to leverage resources and drive mutual success.
Required profile
- 5+ years of experience in overseas performance or programmatic advertising sales, with a proven “0‑to‑1” client acquisition record.
- Strong communication, negotiation and presentation abilities; self‑driven and comfortable working independently.
- Professional proficiency in English; additional local language skills are a plus.
- Ability to work across time zones and thrive in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment.
