Paid Intern – Assistant Centre Executive

About the role

We are seeking a proactive paid intern to support the daily operations of our music academy. Working closely with the Centre Manager, teachers and the management team, you will gain hands‑on experience in customer service, student enrolment and centre administration.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to customer enquiries via WhatsApp, telephone, email and walk‑ins.
• Assist parents and students with lesson information, trial bookings and registrations.
• Follow up prospective customers and help convert enquiries into enrolments.
• Coordinate lesson schedules between students, parents and teachers.
• Support instrument sales, rentals and repair enquiries.
• Maintain accurate customer, student and sales records.
• Help with payment collection, invoicing and administrative documentation.
• Prepare classrooms and assist with daily organisation of the academy.
• Support concerts, workshops, student activities and promotional events.
• Contribute to social‑media content, photographs and simple marketing materials when required.
• Perform other operational and administrative duties assigned by management.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a diploma or degree in business, marketing, communications, hospitality, arts management, music or a related field.
• Confident communicator with customers, parents and children.
• Responsible, organised and able to follow up on assigned tasks.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Comfortable using WhatsApp, email, spreadsheets and basic digital systems.
• Interest in music or music education is an advantage.
• Available to work on selected weekends when required.
