Part-Time GCE A-Level Preparatory Teacher

About the role

United Ceres College is expanding its GCE A‑Level Preparatory Programme and seeks enthusiastic part‑time teachers to deliver high‑quality instruction in subjects such as General Paper, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Economics. You will join a supportive academic team and help students achieve strong exam results.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with MOE and Cambridge syllabuses.
• Develop, review and enhance curriculum materials, including lesson plans, practice papers and mock exams.
• Conduct assessments, provide detailed feedback and equip students with exam techniques, critical‑thinking and problem‑solving skills.
• Monitor student progress, offer academic guidance and ensure learning outcomes are met.
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum review and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject or Education.
• MOE‑trained or NIE‑trained teachers preferred.
• Strong knowledge of the Singapore‑Cambridge GCE A‑Level syllabus.
• Experience in curriculum writing or courseware development.
• Excellent communication and classroom‑management abilities.
• For Mandarin teachers: proficiency in written and spoken Mandarin.
• Passion for teaching and helping students reach their academic potential.
