Photolithography Process Engineer

About the role

GlobalFoundries seeks a Photolithography Process Engineer to own the stability and continuous improvement of immersion/ArF lithography processes across multiple technology nodes. You will work in a high‑volume fab environment, driving yield, productivity and cost efficiency while supporting new product introductions.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain offline and inline process parameters (SPC, defect, yield) for assigned lithography layers.
• Collaborate with equipment teams to qualify, set up and enhance post‑tool activities.
• Participate in NPI and prototype setups (APC, CPE, DOMA, Agile) to meet cycle‑time and shipment targets.
• Lead tool qualification projects to expand fab capacity and support customer PCNs.
• Develop best‑practice recipes and workflows to minimize process deviations.
• Work with UMD to phase‑in new technologies and ramp them to mass production.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Microelectronics Engineering or a related field.
• Willingness to work swing shifts (including weekends) and overtime as needed.
• Strong understanding of photolithography principles and statistical process control (Cp, Cpk).
• Ability to troubleshoot and improve SPC performance for critical parameters.
