About the role
The Nicewicz group at the School of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology (CCEB) at NTU Singapore is hiring a Postdoctoral Researcher/Fellow. The research focuses on developing novel, broadly useful sustainable molecular transformations for synthesising complex molecules using single electron redox processes.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out daily experiments and analyse the collected data
- Supervise junior graduate students and undergraduate researchers
- Submit weekly reports on experimental results
- Prepare manuscripts resulting from the research
Required profile
- Bachelor's or Master's degree and conferring PhD student in Chemistry or a related field
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in organic chemistry or hands-on experience in reaction development
- Entry-level candidates are welcome to apply
Required skills
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Competence in managing projects and teams of students and presenting data
- Ability to work independently, lead teams, solve problems under tight deadlines, and manage time meticulously
