Practice Support Coordinator

About the role

Clifford Chance, a global law firm, is hiring a Practice Support Coordinator in Singapore. The role covers matter management, billing and collections support, business development assistance and general practice support, working alongside partners, associates and the billing team.

Key responsibilities

• Matter management: client and matter clearance and opening, engagement letters, Intapp file maintenance, managing associate checklists and the iManage matter document folder, and matter project administration from opening to closing (including archiving)
• Meetings and reporting: client and matter-team meetings, monitoring project scope, estimates, caps and billing agreements, matter balance reports and weekly fee updates
• Working capital: organise monthly WIP/debt review meetings with partners and fee earners, and raise GMPS bills, invoices, tax computations and write-offs for the billing team
• Business development support: update client focus materials, monitor business development collateral, and host internal and client events
• Document production: transcribe, edit, convert, proofread and sign documents, and handle e-filing where applicable
• Legal technology: support the use of legal tech and AI tools, act as best delivery/AI tools superuser, and follow up on deal reviews and KETL opportunities
• Travel arrangements: book flights, hotels and transport, plan itineraries and reserve meeting venues and work desks in other offices

Required profile

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
• Good command of spoken and written English
• Able to work independently, proactive in following up daily tasks, meticulous, polite and organised
