Principal Analog IC Design Engineer – Power Management

About the role

Analog Devices Singapore Design Center is looking for a Principal Analog IC Design Engineer with deep expertise in power‑management analog design. You will lead the development of next‑generation PMICs for portable consumer applications, engage directly with customers, and mentor junior engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Define architecture and develop high‑performance mixed‑signal devices.
• Design IC blocks, perform transistor‑level circuit design and simulation.
• Deliver technical presentations to internal teams and customers.
• Integrate analog blocks into larger mixed‑signal systems and support layout, lab evaluation, and test.
• Improve analog design methodologies to reduce time‑to‑market.
• Architect, design, and validate power‑management circuits such as switching regulators, LDOs, and charge pumps.
• Develop closed‑loop control architectures, compensation strategies, and optimize loop stability and transient response.
• Collaborate with system architects on end‑to‑end power architectures for complex SoCs.
• Lead power block bring‑up, silicon debug, and performance optimization across process, voltage, and temperature variations.

Required profile

• MSEE or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of experience as an analog/mixed‑signal IC designer.
• Demonstrated expertise in power‑management circuit design, including switching regulators, LDOs, charge pumps, and control‑loop architectures.
• Experience presenting technical concepts to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Ability to mentor and supervise junior engineers.
