Principal Manager I - CIB Solutions Development

About the role

BBVA is hiring a Principal Manager I for CIB Solutions Development, within the Asia Transformation & Acceleration Office. The role drives transformation and business model evolution across products and geographies, leads strategic projects and GTM plans, and coordinates cross-functional execution of CIB's strategy across Business, Tech, Operations and Risk without direct hierarchical dependence.

Key responsibilities

• Drive major transformation initiatives and business model evolution (OTD, operational efficiency, AI and digital innovation) across products and geographies, tracked by high-level KPIs
• Lead the definition, execution and tracking of strategic projects aligned with BBVA Group and RCP goals
• Design Go-To-Market plans and commercial models to accelerate product adoption and cross-border growth across Asia
• Support CIB regional and global leadership with strategic narratives, executive presentations and market analysis for top management committees
• Orchestrate cross-functional execution of CIB's strategy across Business, Tech, Operations and Risk, keeping a comprehensive view of initiatives across Global HQ, geographies, products and client segments

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Business, Engineering, Sciences or a related field; MBA or relevant postgraduate degree preferred
• Fluency in English (minimum C1, C2 preferred) and Spanish (essential for coordination with Global HQ teams)
• 10-15+ years of experience in global strategy, business development, portfolio management and product strategy within CIB or wholesale banking
• Strong knowledge of CIB business models, international strategic governance and advanced analytics/AI tools is a strong advantage
• Proven experience orchestrating cross-functional, multidisciplinary environments with direct exposure to senior stakeholders across geographies
