Procurement Executive – Contracting & Tender Management

About the role

Vopak is looking for a Procurement Executive to lead contracting strategy, tender processes and negotiations for growth projects up to EUR 5 million. You will support both OPEX contract renewals and CAPEX tenders, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic goals.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement contracting strategies early in the investment proposal phase.
• Organise pre‑qualification of suppliers and manage supplier relationships.
• Oversee contract implementation, monitoring and follow‑up.
• Execute the purchase‑to‑pay (P2P) process, ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.
• Lead tendering for purchases above SGD 40 K, including market analysis, RFI/RFP preparation, and bidder communication.
• Formulate project and category strategies to maximise value, cost efficiency and risk mitigation.
• Execute the annual terminal procurement plan and budget.
• Review and propose improvements to S&P policies and the P2P process.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in contracting management or procurement.
• Strong commercial awareness and solid knowledge of contract law.
• Proven ability to draft and negotiate contracts.
