Product Cost Lead

About the role

This Product Cost Lead role sits within HP's Supply Chain & Operations function in Singapore. It focuses on analytics and supply chain metrics to spot minor issues, inefficiencies and bottlenecks, and to support experienced team members in developing supply chain strategies aligned with the organisation's long-term goals.

Key responsibilities

• Perform analytics to identify the causes of minor issues by applying knowledge of supply chain rules, policies and processes.
• Track supply chain metrics to measure the effectiveness of supply chain and operations initiatives, and report progress regularly to senior management.
• Identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks in supply chain and operations processes and report them to senior individual contributors.
• Review performance regularly to find opportunities for improving supply chain strategies.
• Support experienced team members in developing overall supply chain strategies.
• Contribute to a project or cross-functional team with a peer-reviewing role, and perform ground-work analysis that feeds into strategic supply chain solutions.
• Research industry trends, best practices and emerging technologies to find opportunities for process optimisation and innovation.
• Maintain meticulous records and a complete documentation trail of all supply chain strategy project activities and results.

Required profile

• A four-year or graduate degree in Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration or a related discipline, or commensurate work experience and demonstrated competence.
• Typically 2-4 years of work experience, preferably in supply chain, operations or a related field; an advanced degree with little or no work experience is also acceptable.
