Programme Officer – Outreach & Engagement

About the role

The Programme Officer (Outreach and Engagement) will lead community‑focused initiatives that connect the public, volunteers and partners with MINDS’ clients and caregivers. Working closely with centre teams, you will design and deliver programmes that promote inclusion for persons with intellectual disabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and execute outreach and engagement activities both within centres and in the wider community.
• Build and maintain relationships with volunteers, grassroots organisations and other community partners.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary professionals (psychologists, social workers, therapists, training officers) to develop programme content.
• Recruit, train, deploy and recognise volunteers and community stakeholders.
• Monitor and report on programme outcomes, ensuring alignment with MINDS’ vision of serving underserved segments.

Required profile

• Strong communication, time‑management and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Integrity, sensitivity and a genuine drive to advocate for clients with intellectual disabilities.
• Experience in networking and stakeholder collaboration within the community sector.
