Project Engineer – Building Construction

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Project Engineer to lead building construction projects across Singapore. The role involves overseeing daily on‑site activities, ensuring designs meet standards, and coordinating with architects, contractors and consultants to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and manage daily on‑site operations to meet project timelines.
• Review engineering designs, drawings and specifications for compliance with industry codes.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, consultants and other stakeholders for smooth execution.
• Provide technical expertise to resolve construction challenges efficiently.
• Monitor budgets, resources and material usage to optimise cost‑effectiveness.
• Enforce safety regulations and ensure workplace safety compliance.
• Prepare and submit progress reports and project documentation to management.
• Assist in quality control, ensuring materials and workmanship adhere to specifications.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Structural Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of project engineering experience in the construction industry, preferably with LTA projects.
• Experience managing large‑scale construction projects and overseeing on‑site operations.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials and industry regulations.

Required skills

• Proficiency in project management software such as Primavera and MS Project.
• Familiarity with engineering design tools including AutoCAD and Revit.
