Project Engineer – HVAC/ACMV/M&E

About the role

TECHNIQUES AIR-CONDITIONING & ENGINEERING is a leading provider of specialised HVAC solutions for data centres, industrial facilities and other mission‑critical environments. We are expanding our team and seeking a motivated Project Engineer to support engineering design and project delivery across our Singapore projects.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Manager in planning, coordinating and executing site project plans.
• Support project administration, including cost control, work‑in‑progress monitoring and quality compliance.
• Maintain accurate documentation of material submittals, equipment calibrations, inspection records and progress reports.
• Resolve design and technical issues promptly and review RFIs and DARS for timely responses.
• Conduct on‑site quality inspections to ensure installations match approved drawings and specifications.
• Assist in testing, commissioning and verification of completed systems.
• Ensure contractor procedures comply with method statements and health & safety policies.
• Verify delivered materials against approved submissions and specifications.

Required profile

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Entry‑level graduates welcome; diploma holders need 2‑3 years relevant experience.
• Self‑motivated with strong technical aptitude and effective communication skills.
• Experience in construction projects for data centres, semiconductor, manufacturing, pharmaceutical or commercial sectors is a plus.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Singaporean citizen or Permanent Resident.
