Project Manager

About the role

Great Eastern is seeking a proactive Project Manager to lead system‑related projects that support business objectives, operational efficiency, and strategic growth. You will partner with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors to deliver technology solutions that align with the company’s insurance operations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute, monitor, and deliver system‑related projects on time, within scope and budget.
• Gather, analyse, and document business requirements and translate them into solution recommendations.
• Collaborate with IT teams and vendors to evaluate solutions against technical and organisational criteria.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, resources, and quality standards.
• Identify, assess, and proactively mitigate project risks and issues.
• Organise and facilitate project meetings, record minutes, track actions and ensure follow‑up.
• Drive User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and ensure business requirements are met.
• Support system operations and work with the Head of Projects and Systems to maintain stable applications.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Computer‑related studies or Information Technology.
• 3–5 years of experience managing application development projects.
• Project Management experience and willingness to learn insurance systems.
• Strong communication, interpersonal skills and problem‑solving ability.
