Project Manager – Machine Space Development

About the role

The Project Manager will support the General Manager of Workstation Pte Ltd in delivering the P600 project, which aims to create and lease 600 new machine spaces. This initiative generates incremental revenue for SMRT and requires close collaboration with multiple internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain an action plan, shared goals, milestones, and overall schedule for the P600 project.
• Identify resource needs, allocate tasks, and ensure smooth implementation across teams.
• Maintain clear communication and alignment among SMRT Trains, Stellar, LTA, SCDF, MHA, and other partners.
• Manage project documentation and provide regular progress reports to key management personnel.
• Conduct site visits to assess commercial viability, recommend technical fixes, and support leasing activities.
• Analyse floor plans and multiple data sources to deliver data‑driven recommendations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering or a related discipline (preferred).
• 5–7 years of experience as a Project Manager in a transit or asset‑management environment.
• Proven ability to work with multiple stakeholders, including government agencies.
• Strong analytical skills and the capacity to work independently in a fast‑paced setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
