QA Chemist / Assistant (Shift)

About the role

The QA Chemist / Assistant works on a shift basis to ensure raw materials, in‑process samples and finished products meet all quality specifications. The role supports the laboratory team, collaborates with production, logistics and EHS personnel, and upholds the company’s Quality Management System.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and maintain analytical instruments such as GC, GC‑MS, HPLC and FTIR for routine testing.
• Generate accurate data, record results in the LIMS and coordinate QC release of in‑process and finished goods.
• Verify incoming raw material quality and perform chemical/physical property analyses according to SOPs.
• Conduct calibration, preventive maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Maintain 5S standards, good housekeeping and laboratory inventory control.
• Participate in EHSS activities, safety training, risk assessments and incident investigations.
• Develop and update SOPs to comply with ISO 9001:2015 and support root‑cause investigations.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience in a quality control laboratory environment.
• Familiarity with laboratory safety, EHSS standards and ISO 9001 compliance.
• Ability to work independently on shift and prioritize testing to meet production needs.
• Strong attention to detail and systematic record‑keeping.
