QA/QC Engineer

About the role

The QA/QC Engineer will lead the Group’s Quality Assurance and Quality Control activities, ensuring equipment buy‑off, supplier compliance and continuous improvement across manufacturing operations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all equipment buy‑off processes (IBO and CBO) and manage internal and external CARS to guarantee timely closure.
• Review, update and optimise QA/QC processes, systems and workflow, driving performance beyond standard compliance.
• Lead supply‑chain quality initiatives, including supplier audits, qualification and re‑certification of vendors.
• Manage the IQC team to conduct first‑article analysis, parts inspection and vendor qualification.
• Analyse quality performance data, generate reports and implement corrective and enforcement actions.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Production or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of QA/QC experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong problem‑solving ability using 8D discipline and FMEA.
• Excellent attention to detail and strict documentation compliance.
• Independent, proactive attitude with a drive to develop quality improvement programmes.

Required skills

• Metrology tools: Vernier caliper, micrometer, height & depth gauge, profile projector, gauge block, smart scope.
• Equipment buy‑off (IBO, CBO) procedures.
• CARS management.
• Supplier audit and qualification processes.

• 8D problem‑solving methodology.
• FMEA analysis.
