Quantity Surveyor – ACMV Cost Estimation & Project Management

About the role

We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor specialized in ACMV (Air Conditioning and Mechanical Ventilation) projects to manage all financial aspects from estimation to delivery. The role involves close collaboration with clients, contractors and internal teams to ensure projects are completed within budget and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for ACMV and alteration & addition projects.
• Review construction plans, specifications and drawings to assess cost implications.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities and propose value‑engineering solutions.
• Develop and submit tender documents and competitive bid proposals.
• Negotiate contracts with contractors and suppliers to secure favorable terms.
• Monitor and control project financial performance throughout construction.
• Produce progress and financial reports for clients, highlighting variances.
• Conduct site inspections to verify compliance with specifications and regulations.
• Resolve cost‑related disputes and provide advisory support to clients.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in quantity surveying or construction cost management.
• Diploma in Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Strong analytical and numerical abilities with high attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Knowledge of risk management and industry regulations.
