Quantity Surveyor – Building, M&E & Civil Projects

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Quantity Surveyor to support building, mechanical & electrical (M&E) and civil projects. The role involves accurate measurement, cost control and close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Perform take‑offs, measurements and prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
• Source, review and negotiate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Participate in project meetings and site walks to evaluate progress claims.
• Manage project budgets, produce monthly financial reports and presentations (senior level).
• Prepare RFQ and subcontract tender documents, analyse cost comparisons and support tender interviews.
• Administer sub‑contracts, handle contractual documentation, correspondences and dispute matters.
• Assess and verify subcontractors' monthly progress claims, final accounts and variation orders promptly.

Required profile

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or related disciplines (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil & Structural Engineering).
• 3–6 years of experience in a similar construction role.
• Experience on commercial building, M&E, LTA MRT or depot projects is desirable.
• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Capacity to multitask in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.

• Knowledge of SIA contract form.
• Knowledge of NEC contract form.
